Hi I recently bought a used chameleon. With an frisky rxsr receiver



I have a Taranus q7 / q7s with access



Being a bit of a Newby I can’t get these to bind



I know The quad runs by the flight 4.2 – and I can get the quad to link up to beta flight but I’m at a loss after that can anyone help?

So with binding you can typically get the transmitter bound to the receiver without needing the FC to be involved but you will need to hook up the FC to computer and use betaflight configurator to verify things are working correctly, for some instructions on binding procedure and configuring betaflight see:

Generally speaking the binding procedure is about the same, hold the bind button receiver while giving it power, then on transmitter select binding mode with the correct protocol for your receiver. After that your receiver and transmitter are bound, then the rest of the configuration is within betaflight configurator to tell the FC how to handle the input from the receiver.

turned off the data on the phone and everything worked. I'm already learning to fly. Thank you for your help.

Try this tutorial- if this ine does not give you the answers you need, you should search YouTube until you find the videos that will help. If you get stuck and need a hand, I am not much good myself, but maybe can walk you through BF on the phone etc..Send me an email as a last resort if it is definitely a matter of getting up in the sky or not, because like I said, I am mostly all thumbs myself, but have configured a couple dozen quads. I am not even a sparkle in Josh B’s eye however etc.. If you put your mind to it, YouTube can educate you slowly amd enough to your quads flying via BetaflighIf you cannot get out of the woods in the end, shoot me an email. Warning though, I am retired and I spend most my days being stuck myself, but in the end I either get in the air or give up, and on to the next one.
