Best Drone Under £500?

Hi Guys, I'm looking for a drone for cinematic purposes. I would like to be able to record some nice aerial footage and perhaps take some photographs. I can stretch to about £500 if thatd doable? I'm a complete novice, so i don't really know what i'm doing!

p.s is it too ridiculous to jump straight into an expensive model?

Hi David,

I would recommend the DJI Phantom 3 Standard, it's an amazing beginner drone and great value for money. I started out with this drone and fell in love. You can put it in beginner mode whilst you learn to make things a bit easier, plus it records stunning aerial footal and photographs!

I am a professional vlogger. Until 2019 I used to carry DSLR and sports cam everywhere I go. One of my friends suggested using DJI drones to capture some breathtaking aerial videos for my vlog.

For about 17 - 18 months, I flew DJI Mavic Pro, and the results are outstanding. Recently in June, I have bought DJI Mavic Air 2 to record 4k video. In my opinion, if you use drones properly you can shoot excellent cinematic quality videos and photos.
