Battery Help

I have a DJI F450 Naza with GPS and I am currently using 3.3 mah 4 cell and I get about 9-10 minutes of flying time. When I calibrated it up with the DJI Assistant I have it set so when the voltage goes under a limit I get the "red flashing " lights and i have about 2 minutes to return home. Now if i get some different batteries say 2.2 mah 3Cell do I have to calibrate it with the DJI Naza Assistant each time i switch batteries due to the difference in voltage? Or should i just turn off the voltage alarm and fly by the amount of time I can get off of each battery. I know I shouldn't fly with low voltage.....but if i get 8-10 out of the 3.3 and about 7 minutes out of the 2.2 that would enable me to use all the batteries in the field and then I could stay out longer? Or am I not getting something....

If you're going 4S to 3S, the voltage is going to be way different. You're going to run into a couple of different problems:

1. The copter will not have as much power/ will not fly the same because less cells = less voltage.
2. If say your 4S battery has 16.8V at full charge and your alarm is set to go off at 12V - then you put a 3S in there at 12.6V fully charged, your low voltage alarm will go off almost right away.

I would stick with 4S if you're set up for 4S. I would also stick with the same capacity. A lower capacity 4S will drop voltage faster, so your 2 minute time will be completely off.
