Good morning, Noob here.
I want to build a drone, really just to play with. I want to be able to automate missions, and take photos / videos in the process. Maybe move some small lite objects eventually. I want to controll it primarily with a PC/ground station. Not a controller.
My religion makes it impossible to not include a raspberry pi in such a project.
I've been reading around trying to understand all the things. But I'll learn alot faster if I just get something going.
I collected parts from a list on a site that pops up every time "raspberry pi drone" is mentioned on google and added them to an amazon list here.(i already have a raspberry pi 4 for it)
That list was made years ago however, and im guessing there is newer better stuff available. Initially I was interested In using a Navio 2, mostly because it's a HAT, but im not sure it offers any real benefit, so is a PX4 still alright? Is that stuff still any good? Was it ever?
Can anyone reconmend a kit i can add a Pi too?
Or parts list?
I guess I'm just looking for some guidance. An overwhelming amount.
Lots of info/equipent out there and i just want to get started.
Any input greatly apprecieated.
