View attachment 1765 View attachment 1762 View attachment 1764 I have a 7.4 LiPo battery that has the molded end of male banana plug. I have searched in vain for a mating female adapter cable that will fit it so I can use my charger. I purchased a Turnigy multi-plug adapter, but guess what? No mating female port that will fit my battery! Urgh. New hobby and all there is to learn. Would someone be so kind to publish a link to an adapter cable that will fit this.

On a related note.... I'm still learning about this balanced charging. What actual set of cables are used to charge the battery when both are pressent? The heavy duty RED and BLACK cable or the little white connector. Thx.
Then it won't fit the female banana jack inside my Syma quad. I know, I know the Syma is just a toy quad, and I'm no opposed to hacking it. It just seems more expeditious to find the proper adapter that will take the male end of batteries for charging so I can learn to fly this sucker first. Rather than modifying the quad just yet and then having to modify my batteries with an XT60 connector (or buy new ones).Install an xt60 on the battery if you can.
Is used for balancing.the little white connector
Nah, neither of these will work. I need to go from the battery to the charger using the banana plug. Maybe it wasn't designed to, but I find that hard to believe. Really surprised at the number of connectors this hobby uses - especially with regard to batteries and charging. But I know the RC hobby has a long history and technology changes.
I know it is used for balancing, but apparently, it is also used for charging. Yes, the brass lug is the same size, but the housing is closer to the pin on the left than the one on the right. Is used for balancing.

Do both those male pins look to be the same size in real life?

Is this a Syma standard? Seems if the batteries are sold with this style of connector, there would at least be chargers that allow them, or at the very least some kind of converter cables available. I've look on HobbyKing, Banggood and even eBay, but still unable to find the female mating connector. Odd.![]()
Well then try these.Yes, the brass lug is the same size, but the housing is closer to the pin on the left than the one on the right.
Thanks for the pics and link. I've already ordered some and will make my own converter cables when the parts come in.Well then try these.

You'll end up with 2 all female plugs.
Or this which may plug right into your charger too, right next to Deans plug, do check the polarity first.

2nd from the bottom.
Just going by how they look. I'm assuming 3.5mm as that is what XT60s are.
I may end up doing that down the road. I'm sure the Syma will not be my only quad. I'm already building one where the included battery uses the small JST connector. As I get more experience with this hobby, I'll figure out what works best for a situation and adapt accordingly. Right now I'm trying to learn (and understand) the basics.Cut it off and use an xt60. I have sniped the ends off of plenty of new batteries to install an xt60.
This is what most do I guess since you cannot find any online.
