ATTOP XT-1 Hacks and Mods

Hi all.
I have brought one of the cheap ($60) ATTOP XT-1 drones. As an experimenter I would like to do various mods on it.
I have extensive knowledge of Arduino, electronic etc.

What mods have others done to this and cheap clones. If I have to strip the controller board out and out something else in I am fine with doing that.
On a YouTube vid discussing fixing the camera they showed a close up of the board. I saw there was a connecotr with SD/SC on it.. which means I could possibly hack the firmware.

Anyway - looking forward to replies.
 
There was a cheap drone that was hackable, the eachiene H8. I believe the drone was like $12 and the cable that hooked up to it was $5. I think you could flash it's tiny board with an acro mode, pretty cool if you want to learn los acro in your living room.

If you want to attempt to hack the toy drones I would start there.
