Alrighty hey guys I'm back again with another question!!

Quad: tryro99
Goggles:spectrum focal V2
Vtx: eachine 600mw

I am getting a crystal clear vtx signal when I plug the battery in and power up the quad. Once the ESC beeps are done I still have a clear image, but once I arm I get lots of horizontal diagnoal and crossing lines over the image while it shakes.

What I have tried:
I can observe the issue from three different sets of goggles. My spectrum focal V2 goggles have the worst breakup so bad I can't even fly. My ev800 box goggles only show about 20% of the symptoms but still has a distinct image interference when I arm.

The flight controler has clips for the vtx and the camera to mount to the board.

Somewhere in some vlog of ledrib's I remember hearing that the camera and vtx need to share the same ground, is this true and could this be the issue?
Sadly I don't remember if it was like this when I first started flying but now I'm paying more attention to details in my gear.

Or am I crazy and did I damage my vtx in a crash and I just need to replace it.. haha

Also take my poll I'm curious about who fly's 4x3

Do you have a capacitor soldered in with your battery pigtail? If not that might help.

Also you should power your camera off the 5v connector on your VTX, then they'll share the same ground.

I do have a capacitor with the battery pigtail, when I get back into the quad I'll check for any fractures in the soldiering.

It's a board with only 10v pads by the vtx and camera plugs. So I'd have to splice in the power because the clips are not able to solder.

Its getting much worse. I think it might be a damaged vtx.
Banggood is shipping me another. So I'll find out soon Enough.

PROBLEM:
Ok this was a weird one to figure out, but long story short the pigtail rpsma 90degree fitting was conducting on the carbonfiber giving it motor "noise".
MY FIX:
I used nail polish like 3x coats on the screw holes and pigtail hole then added extra electrical tape spacers so there would be no contact.

Now that it's fixed I found out my ev800 box goggles are out reaching my spectrum focal V2 goggles (about 100' range)Wtf... Now on to goggle modules!!!!!...$$

Vibration will ware that down if still rubbing.
It does on my birds toes lol put some heat shrink on it or some electrical tape on the carbon.

I never found a decent way to achieve true division between conductive parts and the carbon. I tried eletric tape heat shrink nail polish and plumbing tape.

I ended up using a piece of plastic bolted in on the top. Perfect flex and it houses the 90 rpsma.

Crystal clear image now.
Now I can diagnose diversity module.

Thanks for helping!!
