Anyone use a FlySky transmitter?

I am a big fan of FlySky transmitters for my surface vehicles. I know that Flysky makes a 6 CH (available for about $55 shipped) and a FS TH9X TX/RX combo for $99.

Will I need more than 6 Channels? I aspire to someday build a 250 racer drone but I don't have the 1K-2K for futaba or spektrum equiptment.

Hi sorry never had one a quad need 4 channels min, 6 is about normal for most guys as it gives you a spare channel to play with , I say 1 spare as some to cant assign them , I use a spektrum as its full range and I wont trust a £1500 scale heli to a cheap transmitter and I need 9 channels , If you have used the ground system and it works well then I would go for the air one ,Hand on heart they look good , but I cant see spektrum or futaba being over a 1k the brand new DX6 is about $300 and the new DX9 which I have is under $500
