Anyone in the northern NJ area?

I'm looking to meet up with other pilots in my area to fly with.

Hoping I can find a few people we can start flight days in good flying spots. Maybe build a club out of it. At the very least, just fun flying with others.

In the northern NJ area. let me know.

You might go out to the AMA web Site and check for clubs in your area. Please be aware that drone flight is regulated by the FAA and many clubs are AMA sanctioned with their own set of rules. It's better and safer than just flying.

AMA link is Go to AMA Web Site here

Click link above. When you go to the web site, click the MEMBERSHIP Tab and then select CLUB FINDER. Note: many of these clubs classify quadcopters as helicopters. They usually let members fly them.

Yeah.. I'm not going to pay a dime to AMA. Or any other so called club. I am looking for people in the area who want to get together and fly. This is so stupid. Why would I make a post on here for someone to tell me to go on the ama website when I can go on the AMA website if that's what I wanted to do.

Safer than just flying? Yes.. Maybe a meteor will strike me while I fly... Sheesh. I have been flying for a good while. Before of of the FAA BS Started so I think I will be okay.

I only made a suggestion, what you do is your choice. Of course, I like that $2,000,000 Liability policy the AMA has for its members. You know, in case your model aircraft crashes into some person and injures or kills them. That would be a real bummer if you're NOT insured. But then again, it's your choice, right, even if it's irresponsible to do so.
