Hey people, is there a lot of hocas pocas to mounting a folding stick antenna. I have a Bugs 16 pro transmitter. 2.gh and would like to maybe up grade the antena. I don't know anything about this stuff but, I can solder and would be alright with the hands on work . Don't know if Iwould gain anything or not. It works aliright now, just like everyone else, can't leave wellenough alone. What doyou say?

No magic at all in my experience. Granted I did it to a Flysky 6x. My case, there was the same dipole antenna inside, with a ufl connector, that you would find inside the folding stick (rubber ducky) with the sma connection. I ran a 4" ufl to sma connector to a made plate where the old stub antenna was. I had a lot more room to work with though. The moxon diamond style antennas are worth looking into.
