Antenna replacement

So I'm using the fsi6 & I got two RXs. One pwm & the ia6b which is ppm, I sliced about 5ml off tip, now this ppm antenna has 2 like tubes before the 31st. Is this specific to this Rx or can I swap it out for a normal one. I'm doing a new build & thought while its all on the table I may as well change em if I can. It ain't finished. I don't really understand the question. The i6B has the 'standard' configuration. The PWM i6 antennas basically are just 2 short active elements (the top part) each with one connection to the RX. The same type of arrangement you find in toy quads. The i6B has greater range as it takes this antenna and adds the metal sleeve (which is usually the same length as the active element) which is then additionally connected to ground on the RX. It's the common type of antenna you'll see in routers etc. It's also the type of antenna that most use to extend the range of the toy grade TXs.

This is what is under the hood.

There the ones cowboy. In the picture is same as mine. Could these be swapped out for just a normal antenna. I had a closer look but it's like it is soldered at the top of the sleeve thing. No way it can be made longer without wrecking it.

I work @ a recycling plant & come across shed loads of antennas off routers. So I collect them. I must have about a dozen pairs all cut to the 31mm size. But don't come across the cupped antenna ever. Or I would have a stock. Not to bothered about range as 200m x 100m is plenty for my acro.

Would it be any better if I put an extra 1 or 2 antenna wires off my rx or are there only 2 for a reason.. .
