Airframe + Full Gimbal System(motor x2 + control board + IMU)

-Airframe made out of 1.5mm board.
-16mm round tubes x4
-16mm round tube clamps & motor mounts,
-2 axis brushless gimbal in the front designed for Gopro 3 only. (come with 2 brushless motors, control board & IMU installed)
-Gimbal motor GM2208-80 x2,
-Top transparency protection cover made out of 1mm bullet proof material,
-Front Lens cover made out of 1mm bulet proof material,
-Motor to motor 590mm (CG still in the x center, same as standard quadcopter),
-Total Flying weight about 1830g (included GoPro, GPS & 4S 5000mah)

Frame Opened: length: 435mm,wide: 530mm,height: 105mm
After Folded (without props): length: 510mm,wide: 185mm,height: 105mm
After Folded (with props): 590mm,wide:185mm,height:105mm
 
Yeah the carbon fiber does interfere with the RF. I have not done anything over 300 yards so I'm not sure how bad it interferes. I do have my antenna pointing down below the frame and maybe thats why I don't have any problems yet.
 
Hi mate normally if you can keep antenna below frame it ok , the problem started with carbon planes it would block tx signal so the guys had to start to drill holes to stick antenna out of this fixed the problem , also some fit a sat receiver so all angles are covered
 
This actually looks kind of cool. Do you have a video how the folding mechanism works with all the electronics fitted including motors and props? What's that plastic on top for? to protect the electronics? I guess that any GPS signal would go straight through it, right?
