A2212-KV920 CW/CCW Motors - Help with finding props which fit self-lock

Hi All,

I'm having an issue with finding suitable props which will fit these motors. I just thought that usual DJI Phantom self locking props would fit fine but the chap in the RC shop said they would not screw onto this thread and recommended new official DJI 2212 motors.He didn't really give me anything else apart from that they don't fit.

I understand there cheap and cheerful but i would like to get some wear and tear out of them. If anyone could recommend some props which they feel would fit correctly according to the specs below then it would be much appreciated.

Outer diameter: 28.0 mm
Height: 24.0 mm (Without Shaft)
K V: 920kv
Fit for DJI Phantom F330 F450 F550 X525
Rotation direction:
Right hand tread (CW) and Left hand tread (CCW)

Hi mate the older DJI phantom props had the flat in side like your motors have the new self locking phantom blades will not fit
Or what size is the shaft as gemfan blades will fit up to 6mm they may be able to go bigger than that your need to look up the size of shaft they fit , dont worry about the flat the nut will lock them on tight

The self-locking thread shaft seems to be 5mm (maybe just over by a .1) and bottom part of the shaft is 9mm. My 8mm carbon fiber props will not fit onto non-threaded part and cant seem to find any props which will :-/
I'm very tempted just to buy a set of decent motors because I'm dying to fly my F450.

Will look into older DJI and Gemfan blades.
