A problem on printing

This issue has happened only a couple of times. The last one happened today about 10 hours ago.
Problem:
The printer was printing layer by layer as it should be. Then at a certain height, the nozzle somehow lost contact with the layer it was supposed to eject the plastic.
It would go about its programmed route but never touched the model., and the nozzle had stopped eject plastic.
Needless to say, I did not know when this problem started but to abort it.
The filament was not "jammed" inside the nozzle because when I started a new print, the nozzle worked ok.
Nothing was wrong with the filament spool either. Filament was not stuck in the spool.

So, what could have caused that ?

** Adding :
Nozzle temperature : 200 degree (Default is 190)
Bed temperature : 60 degree (Default is 50)

Could still be some partial jamming up. If the model has parts where it is jumping between points to lay down plastic (like a castle with towers) then it will do a lot more retractions where it pulls the filament up into the hot end. Also could be filament is just a bit thicker or not great dimensional accuracy or the filament or it can get snagged on the roll itself if things got unwound or were poorly wrapped in the first place. Some things you can control others you just have to roll with the punches. Can get acupuncture needles for poking burned or other gunk out of the nozzle as well but usually I'll just replace a nozzle if I think it's dripping too much or otherwise giving me grief. My mk3 has been pretty flawless so far but diy one is always something going wrong.

I would suggest that you manually move it to about the right height (using buttons if you have them, or G code if you don't). Check to see that it feeds well at that height. Filament could be getting snagged at that height for whatever reason. You might also check that something isn't causing the printer to be higher than it thinks at that height.

Thank you.
But "height" appears not the culprit.
In the last 2 incidents, it happened in different heights.

I am just a newbie. I do not have the know-how on editing or creating a gcode.

I use only one brand of filament...… Hatchbox PLA 1.75mm.

By the way...……..…………..

I have not received reply notification by email for at least 3 days now.
I would not know I had replies if I had not logged in to the forum.
