a beat up nano tech battery?

The first fee flights /crashes have beat up my only battery pretty bad, the crack in the packaging kinda worries me, it still charges and works. But, do yall think this crack will eventually, maybe, explode?

Get rid of it unless you want this. That's an accident waiting to happen

I was really hoping it would be fine.. I wrapped it in electrical tape.. against your advice.. imma have to keep it /: its my inly one. When I buy a replacement arm ill get a replacement battery too. My x8r end antenna piece broke off. The plastic piece at the end, one of them broke off. Do you think this will mess reception up very much?
 
Hi mate the silver wrap is cover to the cell if this is damaged then its dangerous to use , if the silver wrap is ok and the cells are not bent or dented then the outer case is the only damage then your be ok , I have some that just through wear and tear are split you can get large heat shrink to recover them or as you have done with tape , as for your next battery take a look at the multistar multi rotor battery they are more powerful and light weight
