The only battery I need is for my Transmitter and it needs a 3S.... sorry. Hope you can sell them though.

Neither, I was just tagging someone so that it will give them a notification to look at the post.
Hi,

Can I firstly say a big thank you to you, as over the last few weeks you have been helping me with my quad setup and its running like a charm.

I was wondering if you could give me some advice? These batteries that I'm selling I recently bought (ebay), I didn't realise they were 2s and not 3s which I should have got for my quad.

I have a sk450, kk2 board with steveis, 30 amp afro simonk ESC and a motor and prop combo you recommended from hobby king.

I have used the 2s battery and it does fly OK, it just it doesn't have the power of the 3s battery I originally purchased. To compensate for this, I've used the stick scaling setting on the kk2 to increase the throttle from 90 - 110. I have flown it once like this and it worked a really well. Would this damage my motors/esc/quad in the long term and should I replace them with another 3s?

If not then I would probably hang on to the batteries as the quad actually fly's better with them and is more stable, I don't know why.

Many thanks in advance.

Dave.

It should be fine, if your ESC and motors support 2S. If they support 4S you could pair 2 2S batteries is series.

You can use them as 2s or 4s, you might try your flight times as both 2s2p and 4s1p, the 4s1p should give you better performance and stability.

If you have a pack of XT60 ends, some heatshrink, and wires you can make both series and parallel adapters.
