There is a designated place for LEDs on the FC, so I soldered in here. The LED worked with light before I updated the firmware, so I think 5v is ok.
I have asked several other fpv pilots and they have never had this kind of problem... so I guess something is not working right on hardware...
My LEDs stopped working after I flashed the FC with a new firmware. Now, Betaflight doesn't even want to save the setting where I turn on LED Strip in Configuration at all. I turn on LED_STRIP but when I reboot it is still off. Do you guys have any idea why?
I have a Omnibus Betaflight F3...
Hi,
I'm in the final stages of building my first drone. Is it possible to test the camera and VTX without the FPV goggles? I simply haven't bought them yet. I see people use different LCD screens... but I'm not sure how to hook up that. Thanks for the advice!
I'm having the exact same problem... Not able to connect to Betaflight with my Omnibus Betaflight f3... It works with cleanflight, but I can't do much there. I read "it is dead" further up, but what is the real difference? Annoying that Betaflight doesnt works. I have downloaded usb drivers etc.
Thanks. Now I'm having problems with Betaflight freezing. I can't connect the FC with Betaflight at all. It works with Cleanflight, but the FC is called Omnibus Betaflight f3. What is the difference between betaflight and cleanflight?
Hi,
I have a few questions regarding my connections. I'm not 100% sure if I have done it correctly. :) I have already soldered it up, but I have made this illustration to make it clearer.. i hope.
The components showed:
PDB Diatone v8.3
FC Omnibus F3
FrSky XM+
1. To take the easy thing...
I'm building my first drone now and I always test the +/- (power / ground) cables with a multimeter after soldering. I also check that the voltage is correct. A very useful tool. In addition, I bought a Smoke Stopper for extra safety the first time I plug in the battery. If it shows a green...
Nice image of different joints. I'm having difficulties to understand the difference between some of them thou. ;) Some of them looks the same... Looking at the soldered joints on my drone they looks ok at least before I try to solder on cables.
No.. Next is placing the FC and solder the rest of the cables, mount camera, vtx, tx, led, buzzer etc... Since this is the first time I build a drone the process is a bit slow.
Not tested the audio. The camera has a microphone so it might be useful to hook up the audio cables in the end...
I have no soldered the motors and ESC, the power to camera and VTX on the PDB. I have checked the connections with a multimeter and got a green light on the smokestopper when I...
Thanks! Awesome answers. It really helps my progress. :) I think I'll just connect the audio cables just in case. Don't know yet if I will use them either.
Hi all!
I'm new here on the forum so this is my first post. I'm building my first FPV drone at the moment. Even thou I have watched many build videos, I still have a lot of beginner questions I don't dare to ask elsewhere. I hope this newbie forum section can help me. :)
Ok... I have 3...
