where does cc3d get power from ?

Those ESCs are optos (no bec). The 2 wires are white for signal and black for ground. Your cc3d gets it's power source (5v) from the pdb

Cheap escs, Cheap fcb compatibility question.

Sure it'll work. Wasn't all that long ago that ESCs with SimonK firmware was bleeding edge technology

Anyone have an MJX B4W drone?

I think people get confused sometimes between 5G and 5ghz. 5G is just the abbreviation of Fifth Generation wifi protocol 802.11ac on the 5ghz band

    Can't decide which quad!!!

If you'd be willing to go with something a little smaller, the DJI Spark can be had at a pretty good price if you shop around. Put it into Sport mode and it's pretty fast.

Iflight cinebee 75hd unresponsive to TX (x9d)

Have you gone through the Betaflight setup, enabling the correct UART for receiver in the ports tab, assigned the proper serial provider (sbus) in the configuration tab, set up proper switches for flight modes and arming in modes tab and your radio? Can you please post screen shots of your...

    Opinion on Mavic Air

Restricted areas include heliports (including hospital landing pads) municipal and private landing strips. Just google DJI NFZ for more information. Unlike other companies, DJI drones won't fly in these zones unless you contact DJI to have it unlocked.

and I hope you understand that we're not making fun of you, it's just the nature of the beast to crash. I have an S800 Sky Shadow and I swear I've never been able to keep it in the air for more than 20 seconds. But then I'm a much better builder than I am a flyer.

It's just that more lift is created going into the wind vs going with the wind, making it easier to get in the air. Takeoff is always the hardest part with fixed wing. Let us know how your first crash..........I mean flight goes.

Still downsizing my collection and this is next to go. If you want to get in to racing, doesn't get much better than the Cerb V3. I've just rebuilt it with upgraded electronics as follows: Xilo 2205 2550kv motors Spedix GS 45A 4in1 ESC CLRacing F7 flight controller Rush Tank VTX FRSky R9MM...

    Newbie Question

Just like any wifi device. Power up the quad, open the app, go into the wifi settings on your phone and you should see the drone. Click on it and you should be good to go.

    Newb looking for some hints

For your purpose, a racing drone would not be a good idea. It would be like buying a Formula 1 car for driving around the city. I've had a couple that you listed and honestly you're not going to get very good video and not very long flight time. My suggestion? MJX Bugs 3...
