    Banana Jack adapter cable?

Nah, neither of these will work. I need to go from the battery to the charger using the banana plug. Maybe it wasn't designed to, but I find that hard to believe. Really surprised at the number of connectors this hobby uses - especially with regard to batteries and charging. But I know the...

    Banana Jack adapter cable?

Then it won't fit the female banana jack inside my Syma quad. I know, I know the Syma is just a toy quad, and I'm no opposed to hacking it. It just seems more expeditious to find the proper adapter that will take the male end of batteries for charging so I can learn to fly this sucker first...

    Banana Jack adapter cable?

On a related note.... I'm still learning about this balanced charging. What actual set of cables are used to charge the battery when both are pressent? The heavy duty RED and BLACK cable or the little white connector. Thx.

    Banana Jack adapter cable?

I have a 7.4 LiPo battery that has the molded end of male banana plug. I have searched in vain for a mating female adapter cable that will fit it so I can use my charger. I purchased a Turnigy multi-plug adapter, but guess what? No mating female port that will fit my battery! Urgh. New...

I know that now! Your graphics very helpful. The blades in my retail packaging of the Syma were all identical. So, for a confessed newbie I was perplexed. I got it now thanks to your diagram and properly marked blades. Rick

    Syma X8W - Won't take off!!

Thanks for the link to the 8G manual. Very similar to the 8W. The red text was conveniently left out of my manual just to confuse us newbies. :) No discussion or reference to A or B. How silly of me to think otherwise. ;)

    Syma X8W - Won't take off!!

The blades in the retail package... 3 were labeled A2 and 1 labeled A1. Go figure. A set of spares I purchased were labeled correctly. All is well now.

    Syma X8W - Won't take off!!

I just finished assembling a new Syma X8W and it spins up, but won't lift off. Stock everything. It was not clear at all in the instructions about mounting the props, but they all appear identical, so I put them on. Am I stupid or what? Are there markings to orient the props correctly...
