The
DJI Mini 2 is an impressive entry-level drone that exceeded my expectations as a first-time buyer. Its ultra-lightweight, foldable design makes it extremely portable—at just 249g, it slips easily into my backpack. Despite its compact size, it delivers excellent performance, unfolding quickly and ready to fly within seconds.
A standout feature is its 4-axis gimbal and 3K camera. The video quality is stunning, rivaling more expensive drones. Even in light winds, it provides stable footage. The 31-minute flight time is remarkable, allowing for extended flights without frequent battery concerns.
Using the DJI Fly app is a breeze. It’s beginner-friendly and offers creative shooting modes, making capturing great footage simple. The digital zoom feature works best in good lighting conditions, but it’s still a nice addition.
One thing to note: the Mini 2 lacks obstacle avoidance sensors, so I have to be careful in tight spaces. However, this encourages me to take on more adventurous moves that I might not attempt with a larger drone.
In short, the DJI Mini 2 is a fantastic choice—lightweight, easy to use, and capable of capturing stunning video. I’m thrilled to continue exploring and capturing breathtaking aerial views with it!
