Drone won’t respond to throttle / no idle

Hi,

I recently got an Emax EZ Pilot Pro as my first drone.

Unfortunately I quickly lost it on the roof (doh!) and it was there for a few days until I could get it down.

Now I’ve got it back, but when I arm it, it doesn’t idle like it did before and it doesn’t respond to throttle BUT it does respond to roll, pitch and yaw!

I can’t work out what is going on, so I’m hoping someone on here can help

I’m a total beginner on drones too, but I have downloaded Betaflight and looked at some settings and I can’t see anything obviously wrong.

Any suggestions?

Hi try to reset ESCs they may have lost the full and zero setting sorry can't be more help

Ah well, yes. Rightly or wrongly I thought it would be a good idea to flash the firmware in Betaflight before reading the above response!

It kind of worked, in that at least the motors spin up and idle, but now once I move to full throttle they stay there and of course I've lost all the default settings.

Since then I havent had a chance to play with it again, but I'll give it a go at some point. I'm counting this as a positive step forward though!

Hi sounds like your heading the right way , see if you can find the FCB on this site

This may have a flash which will give you a nice flying quad lazy zero does really nice firmware for FCB and ESCs
