I have the syma x8g copter. I would like to purchase another comparable copter to the x8g only with the capability of being able to view the camera while in flight. Anyone got any suggestions?

X8g comes with a camera, isn't it?

Do I misunderstand your question?

There are many FPV camera drones in the market. Some cheap, some quite expensive depending on which country you are at.
Here is a cheap one........ Holy Stone HS110D FPV with 1080P camera, altitude hold and headless mode. It is basically a "beginner's" drone.
I won't give you the price because I am in Canada and you might be in US, in which case, you will pay a whole lot cheaper than I do on the same drone.

P.S. In case you don't know : FPV = first person view.

I don't feel comfortable recommending unless it is a drone I own and have flown. Unfortunately what I have no longer on sale in North America market.
I do not own a HS110D drone. However, Holy Stone has been a well established company for many years. I took a chance to mention it.

What’s a close comparable one to the syma x8g with the fpv capability?
I suggested a Holy Stone FPV camera drone. Apparently you rejected it.
Since you are familiar with Syma x8g, perhaps you may want to try a Syma FPV drone............

Syma X5SW Explorers2 2.4G 4CH 6-Axis Gyro RC Headless Quadcopter with 0.3MP HD WiFi Camera (FPV) White

Excerpt from Amazon.ca:

About this item

  • The Syma X5SW has the Headless/IOC function. Usually, the forward direction of a flying multi-rotor is the same as the nose direction. By using Headless/IOC, the forward direction has nothing to do with nose direction. This lessens the steepness of the learning curve and allows the pilot to enjoy flight while slowly learning each specific orientation of the quadcopter.
  • Equipped with the latest 6-axis flight control systems, 3D lock, More scheduled flight, operating more to the force!
  • X5SW equipped with HD camera to take photos and videos while flying! Bring a new perspective to your photos and videos from the air.
  • Wifi FPV X5SW allows you to view photos & video while flying It supports any IOS and Android phones. The cell phone holder keeps your phone secure all the time
  • One key 360°roll, continuous roll for perfect action and wonderful performance

I never said that I rejected it, I would just like to try to stick with the same type of a drone that I currently have. If I cant no big deal though

As you have been informed, Syma x8g is not a fpv drone.
I however offered you a Syma fpv drone on post #9. Have you read my post #9 in its entirety?
