Help with controller issue please?

Hi I was hoping someone can help me with my problem. I have a SHRC H1 quadcopter that's experiencing a problem. I follow the instructions to the letter. WITH CONTROLLER: • turn on drone and place on a level service. The lights underneath the drone flash very quickly. • turn on controller, lights are flashing still but much slower; • throttle stick up, throttle stick down. No sound when doing so. Manual says there should be a chime at throttle up and another one at throttle down; • no response at all when attempting to throttle up. No response when throttle sticks pulled back and outwards, which the manual states is a position necessary to turn on the motors. • oddly, if I push the control sticks downward and inward, All four motors spin up for just a second; I can do this about three or four more times, at which point the drone becomes unresponsive. WITH SHRC APP: • turn on drone and place on a level service. The lights underneath the drone flash very quickly. • connect to drone wifi successfully. Lights underneath drone blink slower; • SHRC app correctly identifies drone, model number appears in top left corner; • tap start, no display from camera, no response from drone no matter what I tap in the app.....
So, what could be causing this? The drone is broadcasting, and I can connect to it successfully. I'm assuming it's not a firmware issue (the app says I'm up to date, and drone information is correctly displayed in app -though if there's a method to reinstall the firmware, I'd gladly give that a try, if anyone knows how). The fact that I can get the motors to spin up at all tells me that they function as they should.
I'd appreciate any help anyone could provide. It's driving me kind of nutty, it should be working. Thanks and appreciation, in advance!

1. Please check if the Controller batteries have sufficient "juice".
2. The procedure of Throttle stick Up and Down is to connect the drone with the controller. Chime or no chime, if they are connected, the drone's flashing lights should turn solid.

In my opinion, you have a faulty controller.
If still under warranty, return for a refund or a replacement.

The problem persists with the app being used instead of the controller, however.
 
Have you checked the batteries that are in the controller?
If you do not have a device to check batteries, insert 2 brand new batteries and see if you can connect the drone with the controller this time.

Adding : There is SHRC H1G which has GPS, and there is SHRC H1 which does not have GPS.
Which one do you have?
