Cannot get F11 4k Pro drone camera to video feed phone app

Hello. Brand new to the forum. Hoping someone might have seen this before. To view the drone's camera while in flight the manual and youtube videos all state/show that you connect your cell phone to the SIRC app via your WiFi. They make it look effortless. I turn on the drone, my android phone sees the drone's wifi signal and connects. It states "connected no internet". When I open the app on the phone, it shows the controls, which are duplicates of the controller, but does not show the live video feed off the drone's camera which it should. The controller connects to the drone first time every time. I've gone over the manual, youtube videos, pressed every app button, changed boot up sequence, changed out/updated the app, etc numerous times. I must be missing something fundamental. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yah so this might be partially Android to blame with some updates... I've noticed recently even on my home network if the actual internet drops out my phone will just disconnect from the wifi (probably in search of some wifi that has internet). You have to forcefully tell android to not disconnect from the wifi network even though it can't reach the internet through it. For my home network I have to click the network after I join it in the status bar when it shows as "no internet access" before it disconnects and then have a button to "sign in to network" that brings me to an AT&T sign in page from my router, at that point there is a menu in the top right I can select the drop down and select the option to use this network "as is" (without internet) and then I'm able to stay on the network even while the internet is disconnected. This is rather a pain in the neck, however maybe this helps give you some direction to try.

I don't have much to offer. Except......
Go to You-tube and search : F11 4K pro by Captain Drone.
See you can pick up the steps he used to bind the drone.

On my various drones, after I connected the phone app with the drone, I opened the app and then click Play. Then I would see the image taken by the camera. Don't know if it applies to your drone.

Yes I have experienced that and have told Google not to sign off, which by virtue of the excellent strength rating, it hasn't. Thanks for the reply.

I've watch Captain Drone do his review on this model and he does not have or discuss this problem.

REPLY TO EVERYONE- I found the answer. In my Google 4a 5G there is an option to auto-connect with any WIFI network when that particular network is in range. As I live in a crowded area, I had set the F11's network to auto-connect. As an experiment I took that network off auto connect. The next time I connected, the video feed was there. I have repeated the experiment with success! I wish to thank all those who tried to help this newbie. I can tell this is a forum to belong to.

Sorry not to be able to help as I am facing the same problem with my very new SJRC F11 4K Drone and I cannot succeed to find the solution. It is frustrating to have no contact with the manufacturer and nowhere to find firmware updates or any documentation. The seller Banggood has no solution except to invite me to find a local repair center in France but I can't succeed to find one up to now. I am fedup with gthis drone? I thought it was a good one but I am very sad to be in that situation.

I was able to get a video feed by disconnecting the auto-connect. That works with my iPhone but then it freezes and drops off, but if I use my Ipad the feed stays connected. If anybody knows why this happens please let me know. But tomorrow I will get to fly my SJRC F11 and video record for the first time in 2 years.

Just had this problem after not flying my F11 Ruko drone for several months. I tried the easy solution, turned off auto reconnect of my WiFi, and it worked perfectly. Camera feed to my phone came back. It must be some Android update issue, this tech stuff is crazy. This was April, 2023.

I tried everything to get video to transmit and nothing discussed worked. With auto reconnect turned off that used to do it but since my most recent android update, it stopped.
I just turned off data so that when the wifi to my internet service was turned off, it was not going to switch to the data stream from the cell tower and that did the trick.
Turn off data & auto reconnect and just connect to the drone. I was having trouble with all 3 of my Ruko Gim2 drones and now they all work fine.

How's that for a first post?
