Mavic Mini......2.4ghz ?

Hi Guys.
Thinking of upgrading to a Mavic Mini, my question is will it work with a 2.4 ghz phone or does it a need 5g ?.

and what's the overall impression of the drone ( photography/video) mainly.

There are 2 models to choose from. 2.4g wifi or 5.8g.
No, it is NOT a 5g wifi.

I do not own one. So, I cannot answer that.

No. They are not compatible with one another. Either or.

By the way, I have yet to find a seller selling both models. I do not see the option to choose.
I never own a DJI Mavic, so, I'm not sure how that works.

DISREGARD what I posted above.
I found out that the DJI Mavic Mini has option to change MODE, from 2.4ghz to 5.8ghz.
How does that work ? I don't have a clue.

I apologize for the misleading info I gave you.
 
I was under the impression that the Marvic Mini needed wifi to get a image feed to the drone?.....totally confusedo_O
