newbie camera advice

Hi all. Looking for advice please. Just bought a syma x6 as an impulse buy while stood about waiting for the missus to do her clothes shopping. I've had my eye on a parrot a 2.0 for a while now but thought I'd give this a try as a starter for ten as it was only 60 quid. Not expecting loads from it but what I'd really like to do is add a camera to it. I've seen some vis on YouTube of people with a gopro 1 mounted. When I've had a look on the go pro site a search for gopro 1 seems to bring me to go pro hero - are these the same thing? Would they be fairly ease to mount? Also where is the best place to get spare battery packs? I don't want to be restricted to 8 mins flight time every time I take it out. Thanks

Hi mate banggood is always good for battery packs , as for camera as your just starting out and is a lot to spend on a toy quad , get a mobius its light does really great videos and just velcro s on

Hi mate it plugs into a video tx and then you used an FPV receiver and a monitor or goggles to get live but it has a delay ,
but what i was thinking as your quad is small and is classed as a toy( not being funny with you, but dont spend loads on it they dont last forever) it will give you footage till you get to move on to better

Nah that's sound advice mate. Yeh just got it as a toy to get practice before going for a parrot or phantom. Good job I didn't buy the go pro for it. Major crash on my maiden voyage haha. Some repairs to do in the new year then get stuck back in :)
