Possible to switch to transmitter with 5.8ghz monitor ?

There are fpv drones offering 2 versions.
One version comes with regular 2.4hgz wifi (let's leave the 5G wifi for now.) One has to attach a smartphone to the transmitter for screen watching or flying.
Another version comes with 5.8 ghz monitor. Just attach the monitor to the transmitter. No smartphone needed.
Exampler : XK X300

My question : If I have the 2.4ghz wifi smartphone version, is it possible to buy a 5.8ghz monitor and install onto the original transmitter ?
Or, can I buy a XK X300 transmitter that comes with the 5.8ghz monitor and use it for the same drone?

I think I have finally "googled" out the answer.
The 5.8ghz transmission has to be built-in.
Actually if the camera has an analog video out line typically that and power is all that's needed for a 5.8GHz video transmitter to work, that said I don't know if there's any down side to splitting the video signal or if the camera on the particular model has that output line or if the VTX etc. is all baked into the same PCB with the camera sensor. So sort of depends but still a maybe.

Did a quick search and looks like you can split the video signal with a simple "y connector" or two wires going into one for short distances (between camera and VTX should be a short distance) https://www.cablestogo.com/learning/library/desktop-connectivity/splitting-video-signals
