How to power the Omnibus F3 from my PDB?

Hi,

I have a few questions regarding my connections. I'm not 100% sure if I have done it correctly. :) I have already soldered it up, but I have made this illustration to make it clearer.. i hope.

The components showed:
PDB Diatone v8.3
FC Omnibus F3
FrSky XM+

1. To take the easy thing first: I have connected the cables from the FrSky Xm+ to the Sbus/PPM on the FC. I suppose that is correct?

2. The ESCs with power and signal cable is connected directly to the PDB on the corresponding motor number 1 - 4....

To take the signals from the PDB to the FC there is a connector with 8 preinstalled white cables. I removed the cables on 5 and 6 and soldered 1-4 on the FC marked PW1, PW2, PW3 and PW4. I guess that is correct too?

BUT the big question...

There is a 5V and GND on the white connector.... can that be soldered to any free spot on the FC that has 5V? Or is it a special place for the power between this PDB and FC.

Thanks for helping me out!

Your learning fast. Good to go.
You actually have a spare 5v right side bottom. Top Side the RAM is 5v so you may need to run the vtx off the 12v pad but still run the video signal through this for OSD.

Thanks. Now I'm having problems with Betaflight freezing. I can't connect the FC with Betaflight at all. It works with Cleanflight, but the FC is called Omnibus Betaflight f3. What is the difference between betaflight and cleanflight?

Responded in the other thread but in case you missed it get the actual release download packaged for your OS here https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight-configurator/releases first delete the chrome app version of betaflight if you have it installed and install the standalone version of betaflight. Betaflight was originally a fork of cleanflight but is basically now a replacement https://fpvfrenzy.com/betaflight-vs-cleanflight/
Thanks, saw it. :) I came a big step forward now.
