Any Ideas Hubsan H501ss FPV screen static/screen flash off&On

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this form so hello to all. I am pretty new to drones so a solution to my problem is above my pay grade. I purchased my drone from GearBest (what a mistake)and received it about 6-22-18 and they have done nothing to help with the problem that developed after one week. Read my review of them in vendor section.
My problem is this: FPV screen on controller has horizontal lines, flashes off and on. FPV and telemetry unusable. I upgraded antennas on controller, no improve. Re bound drone to controller, no improvement. Reselected and tried all 5.8 GHZ frequencies available on controller, no improvement. Opened controller and checked for loose wires/ cold solder joints: nothing. This problem seems to happen from take off up to any distance. Visual control of drone is not affected nor is the video recorded on card in drone. Only the FPV is useless. If anyone has any ideas I would really like to hear them. I'm stumped! I am trying to work with Hubsan but I'm afraid they may have abandoned me too. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It sounds like you damaged the vtx (video transmitter). This can happen if it gets too hot. You should never leave the camera on If the aircraft is not flying.

You have a point, Turn off everything after using your drone so that there will be no defective issue at all.;)

Thanks Dugdog 47 and Jake Jhonson for your response. The only way to completely turn off the camera on this drone is to unplug the battery which I have always done as soon as I landed it. Hubsan suggested replacing 5.8 GHZ antenna in drone. I wonder about that but maybe. I'm currently bickering with them over warranty as it only worked properly for one week.

There you go, that is a good practice. Unplug batteries just to make sure that there will be no source of electricity:)
