A questions about my first quad electronics.

Hello..... new to forum as you may see!

In a few days ill be building my first FPV quad.

I've owned a few RTF quads maybe 5+ years ago but finally decided to plunge and build my own after seeing my friends play with their DJI's. I'm not new to soldering and electronis

These are my questions:

I have got a Eachine TX526, Foxeer Monster V2. I'm looking to use the OSD it comes with aswell.
I'm using a 4S lipo, with this I have a Racerstar RS20ax4 ESC, with a F3 Acro FC 10 DOF.

Should I use a 5v BEC for the Camera/TX? Do I need more than one BEC (for FC aswell?)

Do i need any extra cables or jumpers for this setup? I do have a collection of 3.5mm bullets but that's all.

Thanks.

Will no doubt be building a log for this when I get the parts!

The vtx does not supply voltage to the camera so yes you would have to supply from a bec.
Depending on the pdb, bec's are normally 2A so you should be ok running 5v for the cam & 5v for the fcb off one bec.
& run the vtx off the 12v bec.

So do you mean that even with a 4 in 1 esc I'd need a PDB? The problem I see is if I use something like a 'Matek Systems PDB-XT60 w/ bec 5v & 12v' - That I have just my 4 in 1 esc on the output.- Would it be able to supply all the volt and amps at 4s?

Or would it be better to just skip out on a PDB and use something similar to a Matek Micro BEC 5V/12V Adjustable?

Am I right in thinking

Battery>> 4in1 ESC>> BECs >FC/ VTX/CAM
or
Battery> PDB> ESC + FC/VTX/CAM?

This vtx is HV, no need for any bec. 1st 2 wires from right to left power the vtx, connect them to any convenient vbat location like esc pads. Next 3 wires are + - and s that go to your camera.

The vtx doesn't output 5v for the cam. Plus putting a vtx direct on the lipo is dirty.even with low ESR Capacitors.
Bec with an LC filter. Or just a 12v passthrough LC filter.
4in1 esc should power the fcb with 5v on the cable for it.

There is only power input, no supply to cam. This is how I did it off a pololu.
12v onto a copper board supplying vtx
With a 5v sbec attached for the cam.
This is a dirty version from RCmodelreviews. Quad with no pdb or filters.
