I have several micro racers that I have practiced acro flying with. I have also been using a simulator to help with getting muscle memory with the sticks and I'm pretty comfortable at this point. So, I'm moving up and this is my first non-micro racer. Looks like it has gotten great reviews and it's priced well for what you get, so I'm looking forward to flying it. Build quality looks good as well, so it should hold up to crashes. Got a couple 4s lipos and I'll be using my Turnigy 9X. I'll be doing a pretty thorough review on this one, partly because I will be methodically going through all of the components anyway making sure I'm familiar with everything.

Curious if anyone else out there has one. What has your experience been like?

Im happy with mine. Pretty fast out of the box with great electronics and built pretty tough. I purchased mine with the intent crashing a lot with minimal cost. I think you will be happy. There was a coupon code for gearbest to get these for $159. I think I still have it somewhere.

Why?o_O The mind boggles
Lol. Been watching too many Mattystuntz videos I guess and knew I would end up detonating it into a structure or tree one way or another learning the more progressive acro tricks. I didnt want to use my 5" Alien or Armattan Rooster to learn. $160 is better than $400 in my book;). You pay to play, or at least I do

Oh yeah, crashing is inevitable. That's why I look for durable quads that will hold up and can be easily repaired.

Not sure if you had the same problem I had, but this fixed it and this drone flies amazingly well now. Check the link if you're interested.
