Colored Props

I want to get some colored props for my Phantom 4. Outside of making sure the props I purchase are the same specifications as the props I now have (11g with a diameter and screw pitch of 9.45 x 5 inches), is there anything else I need to attend to or think about in order to avoid a balance issue?. I intend to put two of them on the rear of the quad, keeping my stock (white) props on the front of the quad.

Best way is to buy stock DJI props and dye them with RIT brand fabric dye. Search on YouTube and you can find videos. Also, remember that the DJI factory props aren't always balanced perfectly. A prop balancer is good investment. I'd recommend the DuBro one.

Well, I ordered a set of 2 red and 2 white, so I can put all four of them on at the same time. I didn't order them from DJI. I figure if they come as a set of 4, they should all be the same. I have a prop balancer.

I also ordered a set of prop guards - same deal there: 2 white and 2 red so I can install them all out of the same set.

It looks like dji props only come in white + black Why not just try some 3rd party colour props. That are probably balanced better anyway.
