Anyone using/used Matek components............??

If it ain't broke, don't fix it??? You kidding?
Got a 250mm in my free parts load of stuff and have been playing with it and just practicing assembly/disassembly to get a better eye for what works and what doesn't. One of the new pieces I have purchased is a Matek PDB-XPW power board. So far this thing seems to be pretty bullet-proof. I soldered my ESCs and power leads for FC and camera/VTX. Then didn't like how everything was going together and took it all apart to change some things, including de-soldering those connections. Cleaned the pdb up with some rubbing alcohol and got it dried with some canned air and my little heat gun(on low). Plugged up a 3s battery and started going over all my "pads" and all the numbers were right on the money. What I'm wondering is, has anyone else used other Matek parts for their builds. I've looked at some of the Matek FCs and I like them, especially the combo stuff. What I'm really looking at is the combo PDB/VTX.............

Anyone who has used these, I would like to hear about your experience with them......either as single units or as a combo..............

I have only used Matek pdb's.
I have found them pretty reliable. But of about 20 odd boards, only one was a dud.
Well not quite, it just wouldn't output the 12v to led as the switch was busted. So I took it off & just solderd the circuit to on, permanently. So that doozy gets flown @ night.

As for fcb's or AIO's I ain't tried any yet.
Ppl I build for just seem to want what's in my builds. But a few have got into the hobby properly & upgraded parts.
I used to get quite a few ppl ringing me up after a crash saying it ain't working.
It got to be a pain so I bought a note pad wrote about 20 pages of duo's & don'ts.
Ripped all pages out photocopied em to file. Now if I build one for someone I give em a copy. Now they don't ring so often.
Which does me out of some cash but my conscience is clean.

Well, Moz, you convinced me(or did I convince myself and just blaming you?)..........my next purchase for my 250mm is gonna be the Matek combo thingie............
