Advice on acrobatic quadcopter

Hi,

I'm looking to make my first quadcopter but I'm new to the subject. I want to make a quadcopter that will be used primarily indoors and will be built for control rather than speed. So simple acrobatics and hovering are the primary goals for it. Could you suggest a type of propeller that would be good for the build or maybe point me in the right direction to find the information? Also if you have any other insight into accomplishing this build I would really appreciate the advice.

How much you willing to spend, including a transmitter.
I think you will be looking around a 90mm frame. But depends what motors you want to opt for. Small toy brushed motors. Or a brushless setup.
Although a brushless will have a bit more weight it will have better power for flips etc. More reliable motors I would say.
A micro F3 flight controller 4in one esc 6amp & 1106 motors. Or you could just buy a tiny whoop or similar & a flysky Tx but buy the micro rx A8S separate.
People been raving on the lizard 95 on YouTube. But buy a frame & build it yourself. Then you will know how to fix it. Get a few hours in line of sight before you put fpv gear on it. If the signal cuts out you know what to do, your orientation will be better.

Thank you for your reply! So I'd like to spend around 100 to 200 on the drone. I'll definitely do the 90 mm frame. Also, I would want to be able to control this drone with something else other than a remote control; Is it possible to get the RF transmitter standalone like the drone receiver? Also what all does the 4 in one controller contain?

Thanks again!

4in1 esc electronic speed controller.
Would be better with a proper Tx you cannot control a drone like that with an app. The lag is an issue for starters.
You buy a Tx & the rx will come with it.
But for a drone so small you will need a micro rx. The flysky i6 is a decent Tx.
I use it. I also have a small build with a FS A8S rx
Flysky i6 tx £45 with ia6 rx
Flysky A8S rx £15
These are about the cheapest but good kit I use them still after 2 years.
