Hi everyone,
I just joined the forum. I love the combination of flying and filming...finding new spots, and seeing videos that others make. I started flying fpv about 5 months ago and I've found that editing flight footage is a great way to reflect on my progression along the way. Looking forward to checking out some cool videos. Stop by my youtube channel, drop me a line. I'd like to connect with more people who share the same interests.
Thanks,
Nick

I love how you show the crashes. Makes me feel better. All those vids on the Tube depress me but I know they edit out all their mess-ups. Awesome flying Mook!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Grumman had a plant out here that has since closed down. I visit the property to fly quite often.

It was £550 to fix the ESC alone was £220 it got very hot it start life as a High voltage castle 120 amp ESC

120 A wow that's a lot of juice. As you can probably tell I weld for a living and thats the amount of amperage plus or minus that I work with, and I weld heavy steel! That's an impressive amount of amperage for a model.

It is most big Helis and really big multirotor use 12 cell set up 44.4 volt , The Goblin 630 is just under a 700 class flight weight is 10 lbs same as a new born baby but 120 amp ESC is not the biggest some run 190 amp High Voltage when you fly 3D the amps pulled are massive This one in the Video can do over 150 mph but this guy as a God when it comes to 3D

It looks like a lot of fun flying Quads of this kind. It must get costly replacing parts?

Not really. Usually its just the props that break, and they're pretty cheap. Quads are actually pretty tough. Most frames are carbon fiber as opposed to balsa wood you'd see on a plane.

Im very impressed at the abuse these quads can take. I've also been using the HQ v1s props lately and I love how tough they are.
