A Drone That Lasts?

Hey Guys,

I am fairly new to flying a drone and I would like to get a drone that isn't too big that I can fly indoors and out that I can learn on. I have a Spektrum Dx6i.

So far I haven't had much luck with drones. I had a small Hubsan, a Blade Nano and a Dromida. All of the drones either broke when crashing or the motors crapped out. They just don't seem to last.

I don't mind paying a few extras bucks for a quality drone. Does anyone know of a drone that can put up with a few crashes and has motors that last more than a few days?

Appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you, Glenn

Have you tried the Freerider game (quadcopters flying)

you can connect your transmitter to pc and fly/ crash till you get the hang of it a little better.. (costs nothing)

just a thought..

Ok for indoors and for just plain fun!!! I really like the Mini UFO aka JXD 512V
It looks like a bee and flying it indoors and out is fun and easy. I only paid 30 dollars. If you're getting started and just want a little drone to take with you to fly around at the office, home, with kids etc. I really really like it. It's really well built too.

Hey thanks Tommy. Looks pretty cool! Do you find that the motors last? I find a lot of them fail quickly. Just curious, can you use other Transmitters with it?

Ok so I paid under 30 for it. And it came with a nice controller. I've got lots of drones and expensive to cheap. However the only other drone I loved this much was the MicroDrone 3.0 which flies fantastic but is really beat up. Anyway, I just go this and I fly it a lot. And it is crazy fun!!!! It's appears to be really well made too! The blade gardes protect it well. It only last 4 minutes :( But it's fun when it flies. They have another and I may get that one too. It has wifi so you can fly with your phone and see FPV. That's like 30 dollars plus. I haven't tried other transmitters yet. I haven't built a drone yet, that's my next thing I guess.

So far the motor's seem ok. I flew it outside and it handles the wind fine. The motors never felt hot so I guess it will last. I flew it at my office and everyone got a kick out of it.
