It looks as if you have put some time and effort into designing this quadC. The one thing that everyone wants from these smaller quadCs is more flying time. 5-8 minutes isn't bad, but 8-12 minutes would be so much nicer :) Just thought I'd mention it.

Looking down on it, does it balance along the x & y axes?

5 to 8 minutes is enough for racing,you can replace a battery for another 5 minutes.
It balance well,flys stably
