IRC?

I think it would be a cool idea to create an IRC for this forum. I could blog on about how awesome it would be for real-time help and the benefits but I think it is a bit self explanatory. Is there any way we can make this happen? :o

Basically a chat room were everybody that is on can talk to each other in real time other than potentially having people look over there threads. I just think it is a great idea for getting help to those in need.

I know when my quad isn't working I don't want to wait days or sometimes weeks for a reply. :p

This is funny cause you gotta be pushing 40 to know what IRC is lol. I'm really shocked anyone still uses it. Man that takes me sway back!
 
Its been a looooong time since I was on irc. Used to live on there lol. Lets get a channel started!

OMG mIRC!!! holy poop. digging up my past here.

man I remember hopping from server to server trying to leech files off before the days of file sharing.
wow, those were the days, its all just too easy now lol.

Out of curiocity though, why not use a medium thats a little more available to everyone?

There are apps out there for phones like Kik messenger where you can have as many people as you want, come and go, its all free etc.
everyone's got a phone right? Hell even Discord is becoming a contender in this feild.
It supports everything. Text chat, voice chat, different rooms, can be accessed on any platform, through apps or even web browser access. etc. of course its all free.
