What did you get in the mail today?

Well, I ordered the motors for my U580 build and they were shipped on April 4th and still nothing. GB just tells me to be patient but I just want to get this build going. Said the heck with it and just ordered 4 Quanum MT 580kv from HK USA West warehouse rush so I could at least get started. Chances are pretty good that the original order from April 4th will probably show up at my door today, don't ya think? hahaha
 
4 pairs of 3x5045 DAL props, and 4 pairs of DAL 5045bn. 1 Imax B6 charger, and a 4S1P 1550mAh 75c Tattu battery :P Making the switch to some 4S

man i really wish i could have flown drones when i was in the air force, but i was never offered that as an option....i got a good score on my asvab, is that an officer only job? I woulder if they would let me strap a runcam on a predator rq-1 so i could make youtube videos on the side xD I guess they kinda guessed that I would try to put a runcam on my drone, so maybe thats why they didn't offer me that job :(

but i guess it would suck to kill innocent people, but maybe i could be like a scout drone and if i saw another drone attacking innocents i could shoot it down and be like "sorry, my clover antenna was messed up"

Hahaha, I think it is an Officer only job as most all flying AFSCs are. I got a contract for a electrical systems maintenance for UAVs, but turned it down (after several failed attempts at convincing my recruiter) and then scored my current contract. If you were a mechanic you could probably place one on your plane depending, and if it were a manned aircraft you probably could heavily depending on your squadron and OPSEC stuff.

MOTORS!! FINALLY!!

4X Quanum MT 4408/580 kv for my U580 build. Not my first choice but the Marspower motors I ordered at the beginning of April still haven't come so I ordered these rush from the USA West warehouse so I could at least get going on this project.
