Well did you fly today post videos here

Only have the advanced... 2.7K, not 4K. Tried to upload 2.7K one time but it made my computer freeze. Time to build a new computer.

Likewise I only got the advanced as I didn't want to have to upgrade my computer. Have already run it out of space and feel the need of something faster even with 2.7k videos. I would go 4k next time though.

I didn't set out to do a range test of my P3 Advanced. I thought this structure was just a couple of hundred metres out, but it turned out to be over 5,500 ft away! Both video and controller signal were good at the furthest point. I've lost signal much closer than that before, so I can only put it down to a clear line of sight and no interference.

Scary. I worry about birds as well. There are tons of seagulls where I fly over the ocean. Cool video!

Flew a bike race this past weekend and made a rookie mistake, I was in a hurry leaving the house and forgot my filter case and the only filter I had was an ND16 which was way to dark for the overcast conditions so I lost quite a bit of detail...for now on I'll always leave the drone with the clear UV filter on the bird just in case I forget my filter case again. This was the first time I flew a sporting event and learnt a lot from this experience, lots of take aways.

This is cool! I want to film some local road races, but have not had a chance to yet.

Here is my first post.. I'm an rc guy that tried mini Helicopters about 8 years ago and was terrible at it so I got rc trucks, cars, F1, crawler over the last several years... nothin serious just fun little racin
Then I wanted to get an airplane and a friend talked me into making an Ed Experimental airlines foamie... While at the Hobby shop I saw the drone and remembered my smashed walkera heli...
I couldn't help myself I bought a blade 3d nano,,took it home But..it was too much too fast,,, so I bought an Inductrix and practiced for a week while the 3d Nano sat in the box...
Now I am starting to fly the Nano,,,been watch 101's video's on youtube and want a Syma X8HG as my first real quad...
Check out this mornings flight-

Well I've been a bit quiet because I've got myself a racing quad. It has an FPV camera, but I've had no way to record it. That was until I worked out I could remove the props from my JJRC micro quad, mount it upside down on the nose of my Vortex 285 and record videos that way! Only 720p though and it responds pretty slowly to lighting changes.

Anyway, here's my 1st experience of Acro mode - I found it was actually easier to fly than the self levelling Angle mode.
