Thanks. I may upgrade at some point, but i learned my leasson. I was being to reckless without knowing the limits of my system. Ill stick with open areas for awhile. Im sick about my loss and so stubborn about getting up in the air again that i ordered another racer. Im still searching in the meantime.

i feel ya brother, the first one that you ordered, did you get the RTF eachine 250 from banggood?

did you just now order another rtf racer? because you have a transmitter but you'd need another receiver to put on the racer.

also did you configure your old 250 with open pilot?
 
also were you doing fpv with goggles or with the screen that it comes with?

also did you get your 250 from banggood?

Yes it was the rtf version from banggood I6 tx the 7in monitor.
I ordered just the racer and the rx flysky hoping i can bind it to the I6. I also had Librapilot down loaded on the one I lost.
 
Also i noticed that Bangood jacked the price up to 399 for the kit. The racer alone is still $129. So if you are looking to get one.... Maybe you better jump on it. I dont know Banggood that well, maybe they change prices a lot?

ah i see...i think the price fluctuates as they have sales...tbh i think first i want to setup fpv on my u807 and see how that goes.

tbh im kinda worried about a 250 cus i saw it only has like 50 meters range with no trees, and hearing about how you lost yours from lack of range... but then again seeing the speed of the 250 is pretty enticing!

If you are pretty far alone on fpv, you could maybe upgrade the system for longer range.

yeah its too tempting to not give it a try. i would love to buy 2 sets and just have me and my dad fly zip around in the sky with fpv goggles side by side and stuff <3

i think the cheapest way to do it

then the 50$ transmitter from amazon that they say works with this

and then the quantom goggles+reciver

= epicness?

I almost ordered two. I don't think a guy can have too many.... well maybe. I was pondering the idea of having one working while the other gets repairs and upgrades. :) I didnt order an extra one because I'm still hoping my other one turns up.
 
After having the same thing happen to me I'll never fly again without RSSI.
I just got a new Taranis X9D Plus, so now all I need is another quad and new FPV gear . :p

yeah you should have no problem binding the new reciever to the transmitter, this video shows how to do it very easily! i looked it up cus i was curious lol


so basically when your new racer and reciever appear, ya just gotta bind it to the transmitter, then put the reciever in the racer, connect the wires to the channels and then you should be able to just plug it in librapilot, do the setup wizard and OWN THE SKIES ONCE AGAIN!!

im definitely gonna avoid trees unless i have someone with me. im thinking gonna find a nice open field and just sit down in the middle and use myself as a center point to fly around the area.

I've been watching a TON of youtube videos of people flying the eachine 250s, this is by far one of my favorites. it starts as a simple flight but he does some pretty epic maneuvers, yet he flys in a range where if he crashes or something he will be able to find it!

Received Signal Strength Indication ... It's just one of the many advantages of using a telemetry system, your receiver is actually a transmitter too and let's you know when it's signal from you is getting weak BEFORE it flies out of range and you lose control. You can also monitor battery voltages, altitudes, magnetic compass headings, etc, etc.
It's the neatest thing since sliced bread ;)

I don't think Banggood understands how desperate I am waiting for my replacement racer 250. I almost bought another one for way more just so I can get it sooner. :)
 
Oh daaamn, I feel soo sorry for you. I take this as a warning to dont go too far,... Just that far where I can see it even without fpv i guess. Hope you will solve everything...Regards buddy
