Whenever i cant get any outdoor flying or if the weather doesnt allow it, i fly my cx10 which has a replaced motor, taped up all around but still flies approx 3mins and has over 40 or over 50 flights on it... i have another at the office and one in the box for when this dies... :D

Nothing too exciting, up and down the lake and the first video I've made in a while...just playing around with the SW.

Welcome Christopher and thanks for sharing!

Which DJI bird did you buy?

Phantom 3 Standard. Depending on the 2016 releases and the updated FAA items in March, I'll likely upgrade to the Pro in June. I really have interest in the Inspire but I have no interest in the price. I took the last 2 years flying Hubsan's (all of their X4 Quads- H107L, H107D, H107C and H107C-HD) and smaller crafts (Nano) all the way up to a pretty basic AR. Fry's Electronics had an amazing sale that couldn't be passed up.

I like the inspire but don't like the size, I prefer the smaller more portable Phantom series...throw it in your backpack and away you go, setup is quick and easy. The only advantage I see in the inspire platform is the ability to quickly switch camera systems and the fact that it is way heavier makes it more stable in higher winds...the last issue I have with the Inspire is the fact that it breaches the 2kg point which becomes an issue in Canada as there are different rules for anything above 2kg...better than the half a pound issue that people face in the US.

My NiHui U807 arrived yesterday. Broke in the motors hovered it some in the house. Today even though it was 25 degrees and a North wind blowing at 10+ mph. Not only did I want to try the new U807 I also wanted to see if the model.ini I worked on last night was going to work so I could fly it with my Devo 10.

My WLToys V262 Lemon from eBay. I bought a used v262 on eBay. When I got it a few days later the 1st thing I noticed was that the battery was swollen had to really tug to get it out of the bay. The guys tells me to Google how to fix it or send to him and he would do it, yea right. So a day or so later I put a battery from the Tarantula X6 took it out and at full throttle it would lift about 3 ft. Ok this thing has issues so I file a complaint. I finally took a partial l refund to get this over with. Ordered some motors and during the repair I find a bad gear. Replaced the gear so now we should be good to go. Thinking this I decided to take it out today to test it out. 25 degrees and windy. As you will see the test flight didn't go well.

One of the props sheared the screw that holds the prop on the shaft. This isn't the 1st time that it has happened as in the hole on the other side there is also a broken off shaft. Checked the shaft by rolling it on the table and it doesn't appear to be bent. So that arm is getting a new shaft and blade.
