Help with first new build

Hahaha, i meant buy a toy grade, and fly a few hours with it so that when you complete the build of your real quad you won't be as prone to crashing it.

Sounds like a broken phase in the motor, can you post a video of it? If the motor was DOA then most buyers would be happy to send you another one. it is possible to rewind motors, but unless they are nicer expensive ones it is not worth the trouble.
I dont know about the motor, it looks liek it working correctly but.... maybe my gyro is callibrated badly.... and i bought a mini quad to learn how to fly (Syma X5C)....

Turn auto level off and try it, it won't come back to level when you release the stick, so you'll have to bring it back. Sounds like you need to tune the auto-level and stabilization.

Hello.. its me again... so.. I put the quad together and realised that its too heavy and dont lift off... i have 5000 mAh 4S1P battery 40C. max, AfroESC 30A,
and 2212 Quanum 1000KV motors with 1047 carbon fibre props.... Maybe on one ESC flashing red LED when its 100% throttle... maybe that is teh problem...
On ecalc.ch it is unrealistic... so I have to change my motors, props (or both) or frame... or make it as lightest possible (without camera) .... what is the best efficient motor, prop combo what can lift and fly with cca 3500 Kg or less and being good maneuverable, stable and last at least 15 minutes?????????????

(5000 mAh 4S1P battery 40C. max) 4S and 40C? How much does this battery weigh? Also more importantly what is your budget on you motors?

according to hobbyking 556g which is more than half kilo....

my budget is cca 50£ for new motor... i meassured my 550 mm bumblbee frame and i can put 12" props max safely... bigger could cause problems...

Well here is a little over 200 grams of weight saved (almost half a pound).

OOps, here is a 4S version, this one will only save you 120 grams

Hello, after a long silence i tried my build and it keeps lifting off and falling down few seconds later...
Here is the video...
Maybe the motor, maybe the FCB ??? i dont know...

With regard to shooting video, I started out with a Drift sport cam mounted to my Elev-8 but unless I flew under really cam conditions, the jerkiness was really annoying, as well as the jello effect from aircraft vibrations.

Later, I bought and installed a Tarot 2 axis gimbal and a GoPro Hero4 camera - also installed a 500 mW video transmitter so I could monitor the video while flying. MY aircraft has an APM flight controller, so I can have the copter fly autonomously (fly a waypoint mission that I created), so I could concentrate of the video w/o having to worry about flying the aircraft at the same time. I got much better videos, but like you, I had a tendency to yaw too quickly, and have since learned to turn the aircraft SLOWLY while shooting video.

Good luck and keep flying - you'll get better with experience! look forward to seeing some of your aerial videos.
