Problem with JJRC H11D...HELP!!!

Does anyone know how to repair one of these... im having a few problems with mine.. ive only used it twice and it was fine until yesterday..now when I connect the battery and the copter is switched off it still lights up and works in the off position as well as the on position.. it also keeps cutting out after a few seconds of flight but will work fine when im holding it (taking the weight).. any clues???? Im in the UK and got it from china so cant really send it back.. Im very new to these and know apsolutely nothing about them lol.

Sounds like a dead battery, do you have a multimeter to check the voltage?

Thanks for the quick reply...I don't have a multi meter...One thing I have noticed when charging the battery. its a usb charger which is supposed the light up when fully charged,as does the charger for the camera and screen, but the battery charger lights up as soon as I connect the dead battery and stays on.. so I basically keep it plugged in for a couple of hours and then use it.. I know this copter is budget and being totally new to this, watched a lot of youtube vids and it seemed quite good according to the reviews...

It is confusing lol... but what gets me is the fact as soon as I connect the battery with it switched off.. it lights up and works as tho it was switched on.... think ive bought a dud... cant sent it back tho, as I said I got it from china.
 
Ive only gone and landed it in my pond lol... now the camera has a green light and not red and wont work ha ha ha.
I don't think im meant to have a quadcopter the luck im having.. is the green light the same as the yellow light of death on a ps3?
 
Right... problem solved... ive lost it lol.... it fly away and I didn't know where...
So........... ive bought a yuneec Q500 4K... happy days... love it.. lot easier to fly with GPS etc.
