Motor Stator Length

I probably should start a build thread

I already purchased these.

And then I see these.

I am guessing the sacrifice of the longer stator is stability since I think it would have more torque?
The price is weight and flight time?

Does anyone know if my thinking is correct or incorrect?

Hi mate the DJI motor will be the better , the Dji motor must have a fair torque as it will spin an 17 inch prop

Thanks holtneil! I was hoping that someone would chime in and back me up in that I made a good decision

This is a new arena for me with the much lower kv motors and larger props.

Hi all I ever found was on a windy day they can bob a little more than a quad with high KV and small props , but its so nice to have loads of lift form the low kv large props

I second that. I have become so fascinated with all the lift and long flight times from low KV motors that is all I build anymore.
