Help with Syma x8c

Usually the left front is clockwise..right front counter clockwise.

Left rear counter clockwise and right rear clockwise.

Some like the hubsan are opposite of that but not owning the x8c i couldnt tell you how its supposed to be.

Certainly does sound like the props are in the wrong places though.

something still seems to be wrong........I have all the props in place , but my flight time is about 2 minutes......any thoughts???

what happens is one of the props just stops!

Sounds like a motor issue or something happening with the gear drives.

Turn each prop by hand and see if one is maybe slightly harder to turn than the other.

My guess is either something is binding or its just a bad motor in general..i would guess the one motor that stops is probably quite hot compared to the others...If you cant find an issue with the motor it could be in the flight control board as one of the FETs are probably not working properly...In that case you would need to replace the board.

Check for debris on the shafts and gears..make sure everything spins freely.

THANKS.....I JUST TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX....

Well, its not uncommon for a quad to have an issue right out of the box.

If everything spins ok, maybe try to send it back for an exchange or a refund and try another one.

There is only 3 possible things it could be and i mentioned all 3.

1.) The motor
2.) The drive gears/shaft
3.) A bad flight board.

Best of luck with it and let us know how it turns out.

Let me ask this...After the motor quits and it sits for however long.. does it spin again and then cut out again afterwards?...is that motor hot compared to the rest?
