HobbyKing™ Black Widow 260 FPV Racer RTF

Hello everyone!
i just bought one from HK. shipping was about 2 weeks or maybe less. im living in Georgian Republic so if its comming from china its preatty close compareing to EU or US.
this is my first ever thing that flies with remote controller. so i already smashed it couple times. broke one landing leg and lost one prop nut somwhere in grass.
im looking for nut on internet, particularly on amazon because i find HK to be very expencive on shipping.
but im not sure wich nut will work for me and i also have couple question more.
so can i ask it here? i would appreciate help from experienced people

That is a hard question, do you know if it is left handed threads or right handed? I got a fine thread nut from a hardware store for mine.

Hey! Thanks for answering!

i have to buy it on online shop so i'm trying to not miss. sometimes i have to wait 2 weeks or more to get product (depending from where its coming from. i live in Georgian Republic)
M6 you say.. ok i will give a try.

i saw my friends DJI Phantom (guess its first generation) has switch that keeps quad stay in air. i guess that's not possible with my build right?

why im asking is because. i find my drone is pretty hard to control. i guess i have not enough skills to fly.

Hi mate flying a quad your not use them, as all mixing etc is done by the FCB, you may be able to use the gear switch to turn on and off self level mode

Hi mate if its just a normal thread ( turn CW to tighten ) I would pop to the Local diy shop and get a nylock nut to fit it

Yeah, left handed nuts are a lot harder to get locally, you can see if amazon has them. Or I prefer to just use self tightening props, they come with the nuts already on them haha.
haha :) Thanks

more questions :D
whats the difference between plastic and carbon fiber props?
carbon ones are just stronger (ie not braking in air or something) or there is also something else?
for the beginner like me is it actually good idea to use unbreakable props. i'd rather break props then damage motor :)

Hi mate plastic props will wollow when you fly ,so what happens is as you power down to loose height then repower to stop the drop ,plastic props bend and the quad still hits the ground watch this video your see the quad touch down
Plastic props will start to show stress fractures on the under side and I had 3 snap in flight , I only use carbon fiber now they are lighter tougher dont flex
stay with plastic for now till your not crashing so much then change to carbon but check the plastic every time you fly for stress fracture( this shows up as a white mark on the under side of the prop where the blade meets the hub )

wow. thanks for video. very informative

so from what i have learned from you (for what i'm very grateful) is that this props will work for my quadcopter.
