$400 to spend, any ideals

I do like the 75 esc just for up grades later. Still looking at super x .got the v666 but had t,o reorder charger . got that yesterday.

Glad your operational again. You'll want to solder the ESC's to the PDB and use bullets for the motor leads to the ESC's. That way you can adjust the motor rotations ( cw ccw ) by unplugging and plugging in any two leads from each motor to get them turning the right way. Let us know about the v666 maiden flight. Don't go near the lake!!:p

Ordered first two motors today . $$$ . KDE 4215 , I am going with the 75a esc . Might want to upgrade to a heaver motor some day so I can upgrade to a mega yacht :) . The super X controller sounds good , ease of setup is a plus and it take care of all my wants . Still need to pick a good GPS , and all the other bits . I have been flying the v666 a good bit , found out I need a lot of practice . Have to look down at controller far to much. Hands have forgotten much . Have bounced It off a few things but its still flying . And yes , I'm keeping it well away from the lake . With that foam prop Guard it cant take much of a breeze . Will be getting rid of that soon . All in all its a good start for the build I think . Just time and money along with a bucket load of good advice . Keep it up in the air .

Hahaha yes foam does tend to catch wind pretty bad, the small quads will take a bunch of bumps, but bigger quads really cost if you crash them haha.

It's a start! The SuperX includes the GPS so you're all set. It also has one of the best altimeters and barometers available. You will be very pleased.Well, I'm off riding again. See you in October. I'm going to send you another link. Have fun!

Just a bit of a up date on the t960 build . Have bought some stuff I will need , like a new soldering iron , wire , etc. Will take some time to buy all this stuff as some of it is not cheap . You get what you pay for , right . Any new gadgets coming out soon ?

Go for the QAV 250 and some 12a afrolight from hobbyking and quality props/motors-Tmotors for awesome picture.
(I dont use vibration dampening on this video) No need because of motors and propeller.
Cool video! Thank you for video proof that using quality parts is the way to go when building a quad. griz has taken this path for his build and your video proves that it is not necessary to add weight and/or complexity to overcome vibration and the problems that come with it, not to mention you don't have to worry about your quad falling out of the sky because a cheap part failed. Kudos to you for passing this on.

Hey griz! How's the flight training coming along? Getting a handle on it? I got back from my trip early because of flash flooding and rock slides in southern Utah. Real tragedy. 12 dead and two still missing when I left. Not a good place to be on two wheels. Did see a film crew with a HUGE octocopter filming along Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona, Az. One day that could be you........;)

Thanks for the reply. Ive had two mini , dog ate one and just flew the other to death. Looking to up grade. Think I could get into this. Have you checked out areosky x350?
I own a areosky X350. This is one nice machine. I have put it thru its paces and it performs flawlesslly. I take stills B/w and color mostly. U can send this little bird out as far as 1k meters and set the camera on 10sec pics thro a switch for GPS hold and look thru binoculars to position it with one hand with rudder.
Bring it back with headless mode or RTH. This quad when it gets known will blow the sox off of DJI. Video is jello free with for 18 bucks each. I have flown my F450 with Naza light for the past year and built it up from scratch. 4 turnigy 2800 1k motors and have to fly manually .
Good experience for this areosky x350. Anyone want to buy a F450 with lights, etc, etc? :)
