Re-set Gyro's in quads - how?

Just watching - yet again - a raft of youTube reviews and in one for the new nano Cheerson 10c
it dropped after running out of range. The guy took off and decided it was not right.
Then suggesting the crash had "confused" the gyros... he reset by moving the sticks to left stick - bottom left corner/ right stick - top right corner.
Probable silly question: is this a "standard" any kit function?
 
Hi No it depends on the FCB how to reset gyros, hudsan just need to be flat and powered for 3/5 seconds , the intruder needs both sticks down and left , the Phanton you have to flick atti/gps fast 6 times till yellow light comes on and do the compass dance

Hi,

For any other X8W - and probably most other X8s to reset gyro's - go through start up, left stick forward and back full to arm the motors - for we beginners...hold the left stick back... and hold it) - now bring the right stick to full reverse and slide both sticks to the bottom Right - the quads lights will blink different ( coz I forgot the sequence!) it should now have reset the gyro's.
