Singer Enrique Iglesias was injured by a quadcopter!

Here would be the right place.

I saw this on a facebook group, each time I see teh story the cut gets worse haha. I had never heard of him before this though, and probably won't after xD, well at least he did not just throw it out into the crowd... right???

lol I only have knew his name because I heard it said somewhere. So after this, neither of us will most likely ever hear of him again :). Anyway, I thought it was quite funny.

Anyone know what kind of quad it was? looks like a DJI Inspire, but I'm not sure.
It looked like an Inspire, it was defiantly DJI. The quads fly to do some filming commonly, and are approved, whether they are paid to film there or if it is for entertainment I don't know.

In the article in the link, I believe they state it was a 3rd party company filming with the quad. Don't quote me, because I didn't really read the article =/.

He uses them in his gigs to get extra footage for his music videos. Part of his act includes plucking it from the sky and then filming his fans from the stage before launching back off again. Personally I feel if that is what he wants to do fine but if he had fitted a foam ring or similar it would have been avoided. And also not entirely sure that it is a clever thing to do over that size crowd anyway I love my quads but the thought of a quad with carbon fibre blades dropping from height makes my cringe a bit.
We need some positive media attention for a change any ideas?

We don't get positive media attention until a news station decides they are like "drones", as all media stations are biased, if not obvious in their articles, then obvious in what they decide to report on.

strange really isn't it considering most of the major news networks use Drones to get disaster footage. Double standards I suppose.
